Rock School seemed hilariously dreary at the time (the name Deirdre seemed to capture that). But watching it again nearly 30fuckingyears later i find it genuinely educational
made me realise how little i know about the nuts and bolts of how music is made!

Hahahaha. God, I remember this show airing on cable TV back in the mid '80s. Stumbled across the clip with Wilko Johnson not too long ago.

Agreed on all three counts. In some respects, I guess it was kind of like the Open University for aspiring garage bands.
