On The Strangeness of UK Pop-Rock Culture, or, Memories of the Bad Music Era (83-84-85-86-87)

Funny -- as many times as you're mentioned the Era of Bad British Music, I kept waiting for you to cite Gaye Bikers On Acid and Zodiac Mindwarp. And alas. Those two acts were aggressively promoted in the Stateside indie music press, but I don't think much of anyone took the bait.

Good grief.
Boys Wonder were Oasis before their time, weren't they? Shining, the Beatles and the Pistols, "buy this band"... and the eyebrows.
