Made my third favorite film (and one that would be in the Top 200), and in between those, came these three very-very Sixties curios with that characteristic Losey atmosphere (tense, dank, repressed, corrupt, sordid, psychologically grotesque)
But also some twilight tripe

Yes, the losey/pinter and losey/taylor collaborations are fascinating. Trotsky is intriguing, if flawed. Check out mr klein if you haven't seen it. Very bleak and fatalistic.
i just watched The Caretaker - which is Pinter but not Losey - and what a strange film it is. There's no soundtrack but sporadic electronic subliminals - little electronic blips that sound dank, like a leaking tap in a far off room - made by Ron Grainer using techniques he picked up off the Radiophonic Workshiop
