I never mail-ordered but you could find these sort of knock-off punk-ish garments in various arcades and street markets in the provinces.
once bought a mustard coloured mohair sweater on the King's Road, but it was unwearable, so itchy
and got a right punky pair of trousers there too, bit too much of a statement once i got it home, too garish, didn't get a lot of wear - wish i'd kept it though
