love me some Ligeti
analysis and score at The Hum
interesting that he gave up the electronics so quickly and went on to do the - amazing, mindblowing, soul-rending - choral works and others using the traditional resources and forces of the orchestral composer

Yes! Those are amazing.
Two keyboard pieces of his that I particularly dig:
'Hungarian Rock', which sounds strangely ELP-ish:

And this beautiful spooky number, which sounds like two or three Debussys played at once:

don't know either of these. i have barely skimmed the surface with Gyorgy Porgy. Nono is another where I feel like a deep dive is long overdue - know the tape stuff and some of the shouty-shrieky political opuses.
