Tangentially relevant: the BBC movie review podcast a couple of weeks ago included an enthusiastic discussion of 'A Ghost Story' (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6265828/), explaining it with reference to hauntology.
The film critic referenced Derrida and Marx, but said the best way to understand the concept was to listen to Boards of Canada and Ryuichi Sakamoto.
